Were it not for the time he spent at Mumbai Indians as well, Uthappa might have been further up this list of the batsmen who have hit the most sixes against MI in IPL matches! Uthappa will play for Rajasthan Royals in 2020 and will be hoping to increase his tally this season.
It’s important to note that Virat Kohli also sits alongside Uthappa on 24 big hits against Mumbai but just fails to make the cut because he has taken one more inning that Uthappa to reach the mark.

#4. AB de Villiers (28 Sixes)
Although his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate Virat Kohli just fails to make this list, AB de Villiers takes fourth place in this list of batsmen to have hit Highest Sixes against MI in IPL matches. Mumbai Indians seems to be one of AB’s most preferred opponents, as he also features on the list of highest run-scorers against Mumbai Indians.
In 20 innings against Mumbai, AB de Villiers has scored 656 runs at an average of 43.73, including 28 hits over the fence, most of which came during a sparkling innings of 133*! AB will also be looking to move up this list in 2020, and has been honing his T20 skills in the Big Bash League in Australia.

One of the most feared six-hitters in the modern-day game, it’s no surprise to see MS Dhoni feature on this list of batsmen who have hit the most sixes against MI in IPL matches. MSD always seems to be at his best when he takes on Mumbai, as he has scored 663 runs in 29 innings at an average of 34.89. While this might not be the most impressive average, one has to take into account the fact that Dhoni mostly comes out to bat lower down the order. His tally of 663 runs includes 30 big hits, which he will be looking to increase in 2020.

Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings teammate Suresh Raina takes second place on this list of batsmen who have hit the Highest Sixes against MI in IPL history, with 35 big hits in 32 innings against Mumbai. Raina also happens to be the all-time leading run-scorer against Mumbai Indians by a long way, having scored 818 runs against the men from Mumbai during his time playing for Chennai as well as captaining Gujarat Lions. Raina is another man who will be looking to make an impression in this season’s IPL as he bids to make a comeback to the Indian team in the limited-overs format.

And, during his time with Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and currently Kings XI Punjab, Gayle has smashed 40 big hits in just 17 innings, totaling 640 runs at an average of 42.66 and a strike rate of 135.02.
