After taking his 29th five-wicket haul in Tests during England’s third Test match against Pakistan, James Anderson has made his way back in the top 10 of ICC bowlers’ rankings. Since the home series against West Indies, Anderson wasn’t in the top 10. However, excellent performance in the final Test meant, he once again got elevated to the top 10.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli and vice-captain, Rohit Sharma maintain the top two positions for batsmen in ODI, while KL Rahul has cemented his position at number two in T20s. Pakistan stalwart, Babar Azam leads the chart in T20s.

As far as Test ranking is concerned, Steve Smith holds firm at the numero uno position followed by Virat Kohli and Marnus Labuschagne. Indian pacer, Jasprit Bumrah holds number one position in ODI bowling ranking, while Rashid Khan and Pat Cummins top the chart in T20s and Test respectively.

After enjoying a stellar run in the recently concluded Test series between England and Pakistan, Zack Crawley rose substantially in Tests rankings. He jumped 53 spots to reach his career-best of 28th position.

India is currently ranked in second in ODIs and third in both ODIs and Tests. For Pakistan, captain Azhar Ali’s return to form with a solid 141 in the first innings has seen him gain 11 places and reach 23rd position, while wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has gained three slots to reach 72nd position after a fighting half-century in the first innings.

Part-time spinners Fawad Alam and Asad Shafiq are in the top 100 for bowlers. Fawad has gained 22 slots to reach 94th position while Asad has moved up nine places to 100th place.
