Ishan Pandita, an Indian professional footballer who plays forward for the Football Club of Kerala Blasters of the Indian Super League and the Indian national team, was born on May 26, of the year 1998.
Early and Youth Career
Pandita traveled from India to the Philippines, enrolling at a British school in Manila and beginning his football training there. At the age of eleven, Ishan Pandita moved back to the football club of Bengaluru and started performing with the football clubs Bangalore Yellows and Student Unions. In the BDCA Division A and C state soccer divisions, Ishan Pandita quickly rose to prominence. Pandita was noticed by IF Brommapojkarna and included in their U17 team as a result of his outstanding performance in the 2013 Gothia Cup in Sweden.
Pandita joined Alcobendas Juvenil in the year 2014 after traveling to Spain at the age of 16. Ishan Pandita joined the La Liga club Almera’s Under-18 team in the year 2015, but as he wasn’t yet 18 at the time, he didn’t sign a professional contract. Ishan Pandita joined the Leganés U-19 team in the year 2016. Ishan Pandita was the first Indian football player to ever play for a youth team of a club in the top league of Spain. On January 5, of the year 2019, Ishan Pandita agreed to a short-term contract with the U-23 team of Gimnàstic following a stint at Leganes.

Football Club Career
Ishan committed to the farm team of Gimnàstic, Pobla Mafumet in the early months of the year 2019. During his first season with the club, Ishan Pandita only participated in one game before leaving.
Ishan Pandita agreed to a one-year contract with Tercera Division Club Lorca in the month of August of the year 2019. Ishan Pandita participated in 26 football games, scored six goals, and was the club’s leading scorer in the 2019–20 campaign.
At first, Ishan Pandita and his family intended to remain in Spain, but finding a club for him was challenging in light of the COVID-19 scenario. Early in the year 2020, there were rumors that Pandita would be going back to India, and it was thought that he may sign with the football club Goa. The club announced that it had added Pandita to its roster in the month of October of the year 2020. On November 30, of the year 2020, against the football club North East United, Ishan Pandita made his FC Goa debut as a substitute in the 89th minute. On December 30, of the year 2020, Ishan Pandita scored his first goal for FC Goa against the Football Club of Hyderabad. Ishan Pandita entered the game as a replacement in the 86th minute and tied the scoring for FC Goa in the 87th.
Ishan Pandita has also competed for FC Goa in the 2021 AFC Champions League, where they finished third in the group stage.
Prior to the 2021–22 Indian Super League season, it was revealed on September 2, of the year 2021, that Pandita had been signed by Jamshedpur football club to a two-year contract for a reported sum of $6 million. On January 6, of the year 2022, Ishan Pandita scored the club’s first goal in a 3-2 victory over North East United football club.
Pandita was signed by Kerala Blasters Football Club on August 10, of the year 2023, to a two-year contract with a one-year extension option. In a 2023 Durand Cup match against Bengaluru FC reserves, Ishan Pandita made his football club debut on August 18 after entering as a replacement in the 60th minute.
International Football Career
Pandita’s performances during his first season in the ISL attracted attention, and in March 2021, prior to India’s friendlies against the football teams of Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Ishan Pandita received a call-up to the national squad. Ishan Pandita made his football debut against the football team of Oman on March 25 in a 1-1 draw. On May 18, of the year 2022, in Kolkata, Ishan scored a goal for India in an exhibition match against the I-League All-Stars. On June 14 against the football team of Hong Kong in their 4-0 victory for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifying, Ishan Pandita scored his first goal for his country.
Ishan Pandita took part in the 2022 VFF Tri-Nations Series in Vietnam in the month of September when India came in second.
Personal Life
Pandita is of Kashmiri tradition even though he was born in the capital of India i.e.; New Delhi because his family is from Kashmir. Ishan Pandita next relocated to Bengaluru, but he did not remain there for long before making his way to Spain, where he hoped to play better football. Ishan Pandita signed with Goa Football Club in India after spending a total of six years at several lower-tier Spanish clubs.
