Christian Eriksen Biography: Christian Eriksen is a professional footballer who represents Denmark at international level and TottenhumHotspurs at club level in the Premier League and plays in the position of attacking midfielder. He made his international debut for Denmark at the 2010 world cup which was held in South Africa. Eriksen was the tournaments youngest player that year.
EARLY LIFE:
He was born in Middelfart, Denmark. He as his father went on to play for the local side, Middelfart at the academy level. His father was the coach of that youth team in the year 2004 and he along with the team helped the club to be unbeaten at youth championship which was a local completion for three seasons out of four. After his impressive performances, he was signed by Odense Boldkulb which was at that competing in the youth championship of Denmark and after his arrival at the club in a year, he helped the club win the championship in the age group.
It was here where he shone and his exceptional freekicks and brilliant dribbling skills caught the eyes of the of many big European teams like Barcelona and Chelsea. But Eriksen ultimately signed for Ajax. He flourished in the young Ajax side and showcases his quality on the ball at the highest stage of club football.
PERSONAL LIFE:
He Started his Footballing career at the club that his father used to play. His father was the current coach of that side when he first joined. Although he has not yet revealed more about his personal life. He is happily married to Sabrina Kvist Jensen and they have a son together who was born in the year 2018 on 4th June.
PROFESSIONAL LIFE:
He began his professional career at Ajax as an attacking midfielder. He signed a contract that was of 2 and a half years. He was signed at the price of 1 million. He started at the youth levels of Ajax and then made it to the first team in the year 2010 where he was handed the jersey number 51. His exceptional form in the next campaign helped him win the Dutch Football Talent Of The Year. Johan Cruyff a legend of Dutch football has drawn numerous similarities between him and Eriksen.
In the year 2013 Eriksen signed for Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of around 11 million. He debuted for Tottenham on 14 September 2014 against Norwich city a match which they won 2-0, and Eriksen gave his first assist. Eriksen has been showing his talent in a Tottenham jersey all this year and which has lead to his impressive international form s well. He has won the Danish Footballer of the year three times in a row which has not been previously done by any Danish Player.
