Ireland's team represents the whole island of Ireland, north and south, and is run by Cricket Ireland from Dublin. Ireland became a Full Member in 2017 and played their first Test in May 2018, against Pakistan at Malahide.

About the Ireland team
Ireland made their name at World Cups: they beat Pakistan in 2007, England in 2011, when Kevin O'Brien hit a 50-ball hundred, then the fastest in World Cup history, and England again at the 2022 T20 World Cup. They won their first Test in 2024, against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi.
