Samson attained this milestone during his team’s IPL 2023 encounter against Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. During a 178-run chase, Samson scored a game-changing 60 runs in just 32 balls. His knock included three fours and six sixes. His runs came at a strike rate of 187.50.
Samson has scored 3,006 runs for RR in 115 matches, with an average of 29.76 and a strike rate of 139.10. He has two century and 16 fifties with the team, with the highest score being 119.
His most productive season was in 2021. He scored 484 runs in 14 matches that year, with an average of 40.33 and a strike rate of 136.72. He had one hundred and two half-centuries, with a best score of 119.
