Delhi Capitals have started the season brightly and at the halfway stage they seem to like to finish in the top two as they have 12 points from eight games. The upbeat Delhi Capitals will face the veteran Chennai Super Kings in the second clash of Saturday at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

In the reverse fixture, Delhi Capitals defeated Chennai Super Kings in an emphatic fashion. In the third game of the season, Delhi Capitals registered a comprehensive victory against the MS Dhoni-led side at Dubai International Stadium.

However, Delhi Capitals have injury concerns before the game is to be played. Their captain, Shreyas Iyer suffered an injury while fielding and went off the field to limit the damage. Amit Mishra is ruled out for the rest of the season. Rishabh Pant is still a week away from his return. The team has to take care of these issues before they lock their horns with Chennai Super Kings.

Here are the top three picks for Delhi Capitals against CSK on Saturday:

#1) Shikhar Dhawan

shikhar dhawan

In the absence of Shreyas Iyer, Shikhar Dhawan led his team in an exemplary fashion and registered a comprehensive victory against RR. His batting has been on and off this season but is always a dangerous player on his day,

Against Chennai Super Kings, Shikhar Dhawan will be one of the top three picks for Delhi Capitals as remains to be a top player at the top of the order. In the last game against CSK, Dhawan laid the foundation for a big total with his 35 from 27 balls. Shikhar Dhawan will look to provide a great start against CSK as their bowling unit looks vulnerable against strong opposition.

#2) Anrich Nortje

The South African fast-bowler has complemented Kagiso Rabada. Despite going for runs in the first over in the previous game, Anrich Nortje made a brilliant comeback. He cloaked above 150+ in two successive deliveries and removed Jos Buttler.

Against Chennai Super Kings, Anrich Nortje will look to be the difference again and remove the wickets in the powerplay. His inch-perfect blockholes have proved difficult for batsmen to score. Anrich Nortje will be one of the top three picks for Delhi Capitals against CSK.

#3) Prithvi Shaw

Prithvi Shaw Biography

Prithvi Shaw endured heartbreak in the previous game as he was dismissed in the very first ball of the game. The disarray on his face while walking back to Pavillion told the story. Against Chennai Super Kings, Prithvi Shaw will look to make amends in his batting and leave the impression again.

In the reverse fixture against CSK, Prithvi Shaw notched a brilliant half-century that helped Delhi Capitals to put up a great score of 175 on the slow surface. Prithvi Shaw will hope to bring his campaign back on the track as it seems to be derailed from past two-three games.
