Inter Milan also known as The Black and Blues is an Italian Football Club. They participate in Serie A, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.

The club also appears in European competitions such as UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup, as well as in international level titles such as Intercontinental Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

HISTORY

The club was founded 111 years ago on 9th March 1908. The club in just two years after its origin won its first Scudetto. In 1922 after the National Fascist Party government took over Italy, the club under political orders merged with clubs Unione Sportiva Milanese and Societa Sportiva Ambrosiana.

The club after the merge won six titles in the next fifty years which include wining its first Coppa Italia trophy in 1938. After fascism ended in 1943 from Italy, the club under Argentine coach Helenio Herrera during 1960s modified its catenaccio system, improved player’s diet and other areas concerning discipline.

The club during Herrera’s tenure won two European Cups and three Scudetto. The club emerged as a dominant team in domestic as well as international competitions.

In the next twenty years, the club managed to add two Scudetto and Italian Cups each. In the 90s the club suddenly found themselves on the margins. In 1994 the club was dangerously close to being relegated but managed to survive as the only Italian club remaining in the top division.

After the club appointed Coach Roberto Mancini in 2004, it started improving who led them to conquer three consecutive Scudetto. In 2010 the club became the first Italian team to complete a Treble by winning Serie A, Italian Cup and the Champions League.

Club Ownership

The ownership of the club is in the hands of three different companies Suning Holdings, LionRock Capital and Pirelli. Suning holds the majority of the club share with 68.55% following LionRock Capital and Pirelli.

The San Siro serves the club as their home ground. Located in Via Piccolomini, Milian the stadium has a net capacity to hold 80,018 spectators.

The current net worth of the club is 567.30 Million Euros.
