Liston Colaco, an Indian professional footballer who plays forward for Mohun Bagan Super Giant in the Indian Super League and the India national team, was born on November 12, of the year 1998.

Football Club Career

Colaco is a child of Salgaocar and was born in Davorlim, Goa. With 16 goals, Liston Colaco led the club’s under-19 team in scoring during the 2016–17 I–League U18. In the 2016–17 Goa Professional League, Colaço also competed for Salgaocar’s first squad, leading the football league in goals scored with 13.

It was revealed in the month of March of the year 2017 that Colaço had been chosen for Goa’s final Santosh Trophy team for the 2016–17 season. Liston Colaço scored the first goal of the competition in Goa’s opening game against Meghalaya. Colaço’s goal gave Goa a 2-1 victory in the 52nd minute. Then, on March 23, of the year 2017, Liston Colaço scored twice for the football club Goa against the Kerala football club in the semifinals to advance Goa to the championship game.

Following his accomplishments in the Santosh Trophy for Salgaocar and the Goa football team, Colaço joined the Indian Super League franchise Goa for a reported 15 lakh. In their 4-0 victory over the football team of Bangladesh Bashundhara Kings in the second group-stage encounter of the 2022 AFC Cup on May 21, Colaco recorded a hat-trick. Liston Colaço scored four goals in total during the competition.

International Football Career

Liston was one of the 35 players on the probable list for the international friendlies against the football teams of India, Oman and United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the month of March of the year 2021.
