Esports update: Godlike Esports team signs Indian cricketer Rahul Tewatia in their squad

Godlike Esports is certainly emerged as one of the top esports side in the country and with things moving fast in Esports ecosystem especially in India  the franchise have signed Indian cricketer Rahul Tewatia.

Tewatia who hails from Haryana have announced himself at bigger stage of IPL after playing a sensational Knock at Sharjah in IPL 2020 edition for Rajasthan Royals where he hit blistering sixes over the park to ensure that his team cross the line.

Rajasthan Royals didn’t retained him and in the next edition of cash rich league he will be playing for Gujarat Titians.

However, many industry experts of Esports are shocked by the surprising move of GodLike Esports where they went for cricketer who is pretty new at International stage.

The scenario is still not clear that when Rahul Tewatia will start his Esports career with them or it is just a marketing ploy as these things will be cleared in times to come.

Taking more about Rahul Tewatia, he made his Ranji Trophy debut for Haryana against Karnataka in 2013-14 season.

In the same year, he started his IPL career with Rajasthan Royals in 2017 he was bought by Kings X1 Punjab and later in 2018, he was picked by Delhi Daredevils now known as Capitals before eventually returning to Royals in 2020.

Rahul Tewatia played an instrumental role in 2020 edition of IPL for Rajasthan Royals where he amassed five sixes in a single over in the process of IPL 2020 edition by achieving this feat he equalled the record of Chris Gayle five sixes in an over.

Now he will be playing under the leadership of Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan and Shubhman Gill and the franchise would expect utility cricketer like Tewatia to deliver with both willow and ball for them in next season of cash rich league.
