In those matches, he has picked up 24 wickets. His average against Delhi is just over 23, which is less than his IPL career average of over 26. His economy rate against Delhi is also less than 7 runs per over, while the figure crosses the 7 runs per over mark in his IPL career economy rate. He has picked up one 4-wicket haul against the team from the capital city.

#2 Lasith Malinga (Mumbai Indians)
Most wickets against DC: From a former Mumbai Indians player to a current one, Lasith Malinga is the only pacer in this list. Just like Singh, Malinga has always been a terrific player in this competition. But what he has done against Delhi Capitals is beyond special. He has picked up 22 wickets in just 13 games against them.
His average against Delhi is less than even 15. Having said that, his IPL career average is less than 20 anyway. Also, his IPL’s overall economy rate of over 7 runs per over reduces to almost 6 and a half runs per over when he plays against the Capitals. He has picked up one 5-wicket haul against them, by conceding only 13 runs.

#3 Piyush Chawla (Chennai Super Kings)
Piyush Chawla has been a part of the IPL since its very inception, and has played a lot of matches – 157 to be specific. Out of those 157, 21 were against Delhi Capitals. He has picked up 21 wickets against them. His average against the capital city is slightly over 25, which is less than his IPL career average of over 27.
However, he has conceded more runs against Delhi Capitals, than he usually does. His economy rate against Delhi Capitals is 7.98 runs per over, while his IPL career average is 7.82 runs per over. He has picked up one 4-wicket haul against the Capitals. He conceded 32 runs in that match.

Most wickets against DC: Unlike former KKR star Piyush Chawla, current KKR star Sunil Narine performs much better than his usual self, when the opposition’s name is Delhi Capitals. He has played 14 matches against them so far. In those games, the Caribbean spin wizard has picked up 20 wickets.

Whilst being an opponent, the Indian spinner has often run riots against the DC batting lineup. He has played 18 matches against the Capitals so far.
In those games, Ashwin has picked up 20 wickets. Like Narine, he also performs significantly well against the capital city. His IPL career average of over 26 drops down to almost 20 against the Capitals. Also like Narine, both his IPL career and against Delhi Capitals’ economy rate is under 7 runs per over. He is the only player in this list to not have picked up any 5 or 4-wicket hauls against Delhi Capitals.
