BREAKING NEWS: Australian Open 2023 Top-8 seeds announced.

As we already know, Australian Open 2023 has begun as it is in its qualifiers stage right now. The main draws will be beginning on 16th January 2023 in Melbourne, Australia.

The main draws are always announced after the qualifiers depending on the seeds. Seed is basically a ranking given to a player depending on his overall rankings and chances to win the trophy.

It separates the top players from others so that the top players don’t face each other early on in the tournament.

The Australian Open committee announced the top 8 seeds for men’s and women’s singles events this morning. Let us have a look at each of these two categories.

So, the seeds for the men’s singles event are not much shocking. Everybody predicted the defending champion to be the top seed, which he is in the AO 2023. Among the other notable names are Novak Djokovic (4th seed) and last year’s finalist Daniil Medvedev (7th seed). All the top 8 seeds are listed below.
