Badminton incident

You are urged to participate in sports to stay in shape, but as the men from Telangana who passed out while playing badminton graphically illustrate, sports can also be dangerous.

When he was trying to be recovered, it was impossible since he was transported to the hospital, where he passed away from a heart attack.

The man, identified only as Shyam, used to frequently play badminton at the post office after leaving work. He was just going about his usual when, at around 7.30 PM, he suddenly passed out while competing. He was rushed to the hospital, where he later passed away.

The event has upset not only Shyam’s family but also all sports lovers who routinely play games to stay in shape.

Currently,  we need to raise awareness of heart disease among young people because heart attacks are fairly common at such a young age. Early heart disease in young people is caused by a number of factors, including an increase in cholesterol, an unhealthy lifestyle, eating junk food, and ignoring minute chest pains, which shouldn’t be the case if it occurs in the first place.

You must continually check in with your doctor if you experience any discomfort to make sure the pain doesn’t last much longer.

Young players comprising of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand won bronze medal for India in Asian Badminton Championship.

Some of the big stars including the likes of PV Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth and HS Pranoy still needs to find their groove back as they are regularly getting outsted from the tournament.

The resurgence of Badminton in India goes to Badminton Association of India and their policies which has provided complete infrastructure to national players to rise up the ranks.
