Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is touted as one of the most glorious teams in the history of the Indian Premier League tournament. The orange army has won the titular trophy once in the 2016 IPL edition and subsequently entered the finals in in 2018 and 2024 respectively.

In 18 innings, the legendary player scored 566 runs at a batting average of 35.37, and strike rate of 144. His runs include one century and three half-centuries. His greatest knock of 117 not out came in the 2018 IPL final against SRH, which helped CSK win their third title.

As far as his records against SRH are concerned, Faf has played 19 innings, and made 621 runs until now. With a batting average of 36.5 and strike rate of over 146, this South African opener’s class remains unmatched. His best performance against SRH is the unbeaten 73 in the first qualifier of the IPL 2018, where he helped CSK to seal the victory after a batting collapse.

2) Virat Kohli – The second position is occupied by a man whose name is a part of every possible batting record that exists today. Virat Kohli is one of the greatest batters in the history of IPL, surpassing the 8000-run figure recently.

The star batter has scored 762 runs against SRH from the 23 innings that he has batted in. Playing for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) from the start until now, his batting average of 36.2 and strike rate of 140 make him modern-day legend. With one century and five fifty-plus scores, his personal best has been a 100-run score against SRH in one of the matches played in IPL 2023. Kohli’s knocks have often helped his franchise to sail through ahead in the league, even though they have not won a title yet.
