The legendary Tennis story of Sania mirza has ended on Tuesday, as she played her last match in Dubai.

The glorious career ended with a defeat for Sania mirza. Sania is the greatest tennis player india has ever produced. Sania and Madison key lost against the strong pair from Russia Vernokia Kudermetova and Liudmila Samsonova. Sania and Madison were defeated by 4-6,0-6.

She went on to become the first Indian woman to reach the fourth round of a Grand Slam tournament at the 2005 US Open.

Sania got married to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik on April 12, 2010, in a traditional Muslim wedding ceremony held in Hyderabad, India. The couple met in Australia in 2004 during a sports event, and they announced their engagement in March 2010.

Their wedding was a much-talked-about event, as it was seen as a union between two high-profile sports personalities from rival nations. The couple has been together for over a decade now and has a son named Izhaan Mirza Malik, who was born in 2018.

After in 2013, Sania chose doubles as her priority to play. She left playing singles in midway, this decision was to look more after her body growing over the years.

Mirza is known for her success in doubles, Sania won  numbers of titles throughout her career. In 2015 she was the highest doubels ranked player,  ecoming the first Indian woman to reach that ranking.

Throughout her career, Mirza has won a total of six Grand Slam titles in doubles and mixed doubles, and she has also won 14 WTA singles titles and 41 doubles titles. Sania has been awarded numbers of accolades for her  achievements, including the most prestigious award in sports comadre “Padma Shri”, one of India’s highest civilian awards, and the Arjuna Award, which is given to outstanding athletes in India.
