MI vs SRH Match Summary

If not for India, Manish Pandey is definitely helping Sunrisers at a time when it is needed the most. The right-handed batsman has played another masterclass innings against Mumbai Indians on Thursday, helping his side to take the match on super over. Sunrisers though ended on a losing side.

Needing 48 runs in the last four overs, Manish Pandey and Mohammad Nabi held their nerves to level the score at Wankhede Stadium

Manish Pandey played a sensational 71 run knock off 47 balls, while Nabi also played good cameo of 31 off 20 balls.

Earlier, Quinton De Kock guided Mumbai to score a below par 162 on a Wankhede pitch.

De Kock played the second slowest half-century in the tournament, however, when no one on the other end stayed for too long, De Kock made sure he anchored the innings and took his side to a respectable total. He scored 69 runs off 58 deliveries, including six fours and two sixes.

Players with the likes of Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav once again looked good but then gave their wickets away in the process of playing shots one too many.

Mumbai Indians are into the playoffs but looking at the poor run of form of their skipper Rohit Sharma and Keiron Pollard, Mumbai Indians wouldn’t be too happy at the moment.
