Early Life and Family
Shabeer Bapu Sharfudheen was born on 3 August 1986, from Palakkad, Kerala, Shabeer was raised in the rice farming area of Ummini, Palakkad, Kerala. Shabeer’s father is an auto-rickshaw driver. His mother is a housewife. Coming from humble backgrounds and upbringing, Shabeer was selected by State Bank of India- Mysore. Due to his tremendous talents, Shabeer went on to become a national level Kabaddi Athlete.

Shabeer Bappu Pro Kabaddi League Career

A veteran of the game, Shabeer Bappu has been in the business since the inaugural season of Pro Kabaddi League. Bappu was a part of U Mumba in the inaugural season, and then spent three of his next four seasons at U Mumba, with a season at Jaipur Pink Panthers in between. He then played for Dabang Delhi in Season 6 of Pro Kabaddi League. Bappu’s services have now been acquired by Tamil Thalaivas for Season 7.
Bappu has played as many as 74 games in the league. His best tally came in season 1 where he scored 66 raid points.
Shabeer Bappu led Karnataka team in 2017-18 Senior National Kabaddi Championship and was also part of the national camp from 2011 to 2014.
