Gujarat’ Giants Vs. Patna Pirates
Match day 21 of Pro Kabaddi League Season 9 featured Gujarat Giants and Patna Pirates for the first match of the evening. The Pirates successfully defeated the Giants by a margin of 6 points and take the 8th spot in PKL season 9 points table.
It was a clinical performance by the 4-time champions as they are slowly making a comeback after a disappointing start to the season.
Raider Sachin was their star performer of the night as he brought back 13 raid points. He was accompanied by All-rounder Rohit Gulia, who played some attacking Kabaddi and notched 7 raid points.
Monu was another raider who won 3 raid points. Defensively – Neeraj Kumar, Manish, Sunil and Mohammadreza Chiyaneh shared 4 tackle points between them.
Meanwhile, Giants had a tough time at the mat as Mahendra Rajput and Parteek Dahiya were the best players as both shared 20 raid points between them.

Match number 51 of the Pro Kabaddi League season 9 saw Telegu Titans face yet another setback as they lost their 8th game of the season. They are now pretty much out of contention to reach the play-off rounds as they sit at the bottom of the table.
This time Pardeep Narwal’s UP Yoddhas handed them a defeat by a heavy margin of 19 points. Yoddhas were able to perform like a team and everyone played their part in this one-sided victory. Raiding duo of Pardeep Narwal (9 raid points) and Surinder Gill (13 raid points) had the Titans’ defense crawling on their knees as both scored a combined 22 raid points.
UP’s defense played a major role behind this emphatic victory as Right cover Ashu Singh trapped 5 tackle points, Left corner Sumit won 2 tackle points and All-rounder Gurdeep won 6 tackle points.
