Mohit Chillar was born on Tuesday, July 13, 1993, at Nizampur, Delhi (North-West), India. He completed studies from the University of Delhi. Mohit Chillar hails from Nizampur, Delhi, Coming from a background with a hotbed of kabaddi players.
Mohit Chhillar started playing kabaddi right from when he was a kid. He played for School Games Federation of India. Though his father is also a former kabaddi player himself, it was his uncle who introduced him to kabaddi who was an international-level player himself. There were no training facilities in his hometown, hence, Mohit took guidance from his seniors.
Playing for his village club to the Juniors, and then subsequently in the National Team, Mohit has had an exciting ride. He is considered as one of the most versatile defenders in the game and has time and again won matches for his team.
Mohit Chillar got married on November 30, 2018, with a girl named Meenu Chillar and both couple also had a beautiful daughter.

Mohit Chillar International Career
Mohit Chillar career with the National team couldn’t have a better start. He was a part of the Asian Games 2016 gold medal-winning team. The very same year, the team won the Kabaddi World Cup, too. It was indeed a special moment for Mohit.

Mohit Chillar Pro Kabaddi Career
Mohit Chillar is an Indian professional kabaddi player. He made his Pro Kabaddi League debut in Season 1, playing for U Mumba and spent three seasons there. He is a right corner defender and one of the most successful in his positions. He has played for U Mumba for the first three seasons and was later bought by Bengaluru Bulls for a whopping Rs. 53 lakhs in Season 4. Chhillar’s tally of 5 Super Tackles in Season 1 just one shy of the most by a player in a season.

He then spent the next three season at three different teams- Bengaluru Bulls, Haryana Steelers, and Jaipur Pink Panthers, in this very order. He will now play for his fifth franchise in Pro Kabaddi League Season 7 where he will don Tamil Thalaivas’ jersey.
An integral part of 2016 India’s Kabaddi World Cup campaign, Mohit Chillar stands fourth in the list of most successful defenders in Pro Kabaddi League. Mohit holds as many as 17 high 5s in the league so far. Only two other players in the league have more High 5s than him. Mohit Chhillar led the league in High 5s with 6 in Season 3 and His average of 3.54 tackle points in Season 3 was the second-best among Right Corners.

He was the part of winning U Mumba team season 2 and also captained the Bengaluru Bulls (season 4). He has played 109 PKL matches till date and has earned 277 tackle points with 23 super tackles and 20 high 5’s. He averages 2.33 tackle points per match.
