The wall of Indian cricket Rahul Dravid has turned 49 on Tuesday 11th January 2022. He has represented India in 164 Test`s, 344 ODI`s and a T20I, and has scored 13,288 Test runs and 10,899 ODI runs. He announced his retirement from International cricket in 2012 after representing India for more than 15 years.

Dravid started his coaching career in 2014 as a mentor of Rajasthan Royals, a team which he had captained during his IPL career, he also mentored Delhi Daredevils for two seasons from 2016-17. After that he returned to the Indian blue but as a coach for the U-19 team. With Dravid as the helmsmen of the U-19 team he helped a lot of cricketers and provided them with a promising career, the list includes players like: Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan, Shubhman Gill, Prithvi Shaw and many more. U-19 team of India won the U-19 world cup in New Zealand in 2018 under Dravid`s coaching.

Dravid is the fourth highest ODI run-getter for India with 10,889 runs from 344 matches with an average of 39.17, and his best ODI knock of 153 runs came against New Zealand in 1999.

On Dravid`s 45th Birthday, the God of Cricket Sachin Tandulkar said that: “There might be many strong walls around us but the greatest yet is the one and only, Rahul Dravid”.
