Ivan Perisic is a Croatian professional Footballer who plays as Winger for the German Club Baryen Munich and the Croatia national team.
EARLY LIFE
Ivan was born on 2nd February 1989 in Split, SR Croatia, Yugoslavia to mother Tihana Perisic and father Ante Perisic.
He started his career with the Youth team of Hajduk Spilt and then Sochaux in 2006. After getting into the senior side of the club he was loaned to the Belgium club Roeselare then to the Brugge where he surged new heights.
PERSONAL LIFE
Ivan married his long-time girlfriend Josipa Perisic. The couple is blessed with two children a son named Leonardo and a daughter named Manuela
CLUB CAREER
After the scouts of Dortmund saw Ivan’s performance, they took no time to purchase him on a five-year contract with him.
He made his debut for the club against Hamburger SV on 5th August 2011. He proved his assistance to the team in conquering the 2011-12 Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal. In the coming year he joined VfB Wolfsburg, he netted his first goal for the team against Standard Liege on 10th January 2013.
IN 2015 HE MOVED TO Italian club Inter Milan on a five-Year contract. He made his debut just after three days of signing the contract. Measuring his performances he was sent on loan to the German Club Bayern Munich on 13th August 2019.
INTERNATIONAL CAREER
Ivan had Played for his national team as a part of its Senior as well as its junior side. From the Junior side, he had played in the U-17, U-19 and U-21 squads.
He was promoted on the senior side of the team on 26th March 2011 against Georgia.
CONTROVERSY
Ivan make controversy when his team wasn’t awarded a Penalty after Samuel Umtiti struck the left arm of Ivan in the Croatia area. It became the most controversial moment of the 2018 World cup final match, which eventually France won by 4-2.
