IPL 2025: GT vs RR – Which team will win the match tonight?
The two-time finalists Gujarat Titans will take on the first-ever IPL winners Rajasthan Royals in the 23rd match of the Indian Premier League 2025. The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Currently Gujarat Titans is placed on the second rank in the points table, with six points through the three wins and just one loss in the four matches played. They beat Sunrisers Hyderabad in their previous outing and will be high on confidence, showing character in every match as a unit.
GT lost their first game of the ongoing edition, but since then they have been clinical with their performances.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have had an equal figure of two wins and two losses in four matches altogether. They are placed seventh on the table at the moment. RR beat Punjab Kings in their home ground by a huge gap of 50 runs in the previous match. Gujarat Titans has had a fairly consistent campaign so far and look settled in their approach right now. The bowling unit has shown discipline in the face of a lot of pressure.
Mohammed Siraj has been outstanding for GT, having taken wickets in the previous two matches and displayed an economical bowling. What will be interesting to see would be the entry of Jos Buttler, who will be playing against his previous franchise of many years.
The Rajasthan Royals are also coming off two back-to-back wins and look in great form. Yashasvi Jaiswal’s batting and Jofra Archer’s exceptional bowling will definitely add immense confidence to the side, which they will aim to carry in tonight’s game as well.
Shubman Gill and his men will look to get yet another win as they face Sanju Samson and his men in pink. This clash is expected to be an exciting one, as two winning teams will lock horns and make the most of the conditions to go up the order in the team standings.
