The two-time finalists Gujarat Titans will take on the first-ever IPL winners Rajasthan Royals in the 23rd match of the Indian Premier League 2025. The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Currently Gujarat Titans is placed on the second rank in the points table, with six points through the three wins and just one loss in the four matches played. They beat Sunrisers Hyderabad in their previous outing and will be high on confidence, showing character in every match as a unit.

GT lost their first game of the ongoing edition, but since then they have been clinical with their performances.

Mohammed Siraj has been outstanding for GT, having taken wickets in the previous two matches and displayed an economical bowling. What will be interesting to see would be the entry of Jos Buttler, who will be playing against his previous franchise of many years.

The Rajasthan Royals are also coming off two back-to-back wins and look in great form. Yashasvi Jaiswal’s batting and Jofra Archer’s exceptional bowling will definitely add immense confidence to the side, which they will aim to carry in tonight’s game as well.

Shubman Gill and his men will look to get yet another win as they face Sanju Samson and his men in pink. This clash is expected to be an exciting one, as two winning teams will lock horns and make the most of the conditions to go up the order in the team standings.

GT and RR have faced each other in 6 matches in the history of IPL. Out of these, GT has won five times whereas RR have come out victorious on just 1 occasion, which might just change today.

Game Condition:

The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad features a pitch that caters well to aggressive batting, especially under lights. The surface offers good pace, allowing batters to play freely and target the boundaries with confidence.

New-ball bowlers might get some assistance early on, but the pitch flattens out quickly, offering little for spinners or seamers in the middle overs. Dew often becomes a factor later in the game, giving chasing sides an added advantage. The average first-innings score here happens to be around 200.

GT Predicted XI:

Jos Buttler (wk), Shubman Gill (C), Sai Sudharsan, Sherfane Rutherford, Shahrukh Khan, Rahul Tewatia, Sai Kishore, Washington Sundar, Rashid Khan, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj
