Delhi Capitals are on the back of a super-over win against Kings XI Punjab on Sunday. The team with a bunch of youngsters go against the veteran and experienced campaigners, Chennai Super Kings on Friday. At Dubai International Stadium, Delhi Capitals will look to sustain the momentum that they have obtained in the first match of the campaign. For Delhi Capitals, despite the victory, there are plenty of things to ponder upon. The opening partnership failed to give the require opening against Kings XI Punjab. It was Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant who held the fort until Marcus Stoinis came up with an onslaught. Delhi Capitals were heading towards a small total but Marcus Stoinis scored heavily in the final two overs against Punjab.

The bowling unit was caught sleeping after they had reduced the opposition to a 96/5. Mayank Agarwal took Punjab to the finishing line but Stoinis had other plans on that day. In the super over, Kagiso Rabada restricted Punjab to two runs and helped their team to win the match.

Two contrasting sides in every aspect face each other on Friday.

Shreyas Iyer will be one of the top three players whom Mahendra Singh Dhoni should vary off.

Against Punjab, he led his side to the victory with his cool and calm attitude. Despite the bowlers going for runs, the batsmen trusted his bowlers to get the job done. Shreyas Iyer will look to replicate the same on Friday against Chennai.

The all-rounder helped his team with a stupendous bowling performance, holding the nerves in the final over. Though Mayank Agarwal reduced the equation to one from three deliveries, he kept his calm. He sent the match to the super over. Marcus Stoinis will be a potent weapon against CSK for Shreyas Iyer.
