Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders will look to build on to their last match momentum and outwit each other when they take on each other at Dubai International Stadium. Royals have won both their matches while KKR has a win and a loss to show for their efforts so far. Starting with KKR who defeated Hyderabad team by 7 wickets and ticked all boxes. Cummins was spot on with his lengths and spin also suffocated the opponents in middle overs. Run chase was completed very nicely by Morgan & Gill, after losing three wickets.

KKR would want some more runs from Karthik and hope that Russell also gets a hit out in middle sooner. Varun Chakravarthy, who had a forgettable season with Kings X1 last year, was very impressive in his outing for KKR and also managed to get Warner just when he was looking to up the tempo. Rajasthan would be high on confidence after winning a match from dead against Kings X1.

Smith would want his bowlers to bowl better as 200+ scores can not be chased down every time. Unadkat & Ankit would like to bowl more tight lengths and pick wickets so that burden on Archer gets less to an extent. Spin bowling lead by Gopal and Tewatia have been decent enough and with bigger boundaries, in Dubai, both would come handy.

Their batting has been lead very well by Smith and Samson with altering looking in sublime touch. They also discovered a hitter in form of Tewatia who played the deciding innings of the last match. They would hope that Butler, Parag and Robin contribute more in coming matches. KKR has already played one match at Dubai and Royals would be playing their first so this might work as an advantage for KKR.

Dubai has bigger boundaries so spinners of both teams would be in action. Teams are now willing to bat first as the pitch gets slower in second innings. Both teams like to chase so will be interesting to see what they decide on winning the toss. Looking at both teams KKR looks a batting heavy side as compared to Royals so start as favourites.
