India vs West Indies 2nd Test Highlights: Match Drawn
India won the Test series against West Indies by 1-0. There was a chance for the Indian team to win the 2nd Test but that didn’t happen. Due to rain, the match was called off. The Indian team certainly had a chance to win the series, after doing great work in the batting area. Surely, Rohit Sharma is going to be very disappointed with the draw, because he was aiming for the win. But undoubtedly, this series has given victory and many individual records to the Indian team

The highlight of the 2nd Test Match
In the 2nd test Match West Indies certainly gave their best performance. They ensured to fight back, but clearly, they were not good enough to do that. On the other hand, the openers of the Indian team gave an excellent performance.
- In the first innings, the Indian team came out to bat. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma gave a brilliant start. They both gave a brilliant start of 139 runs. Jaiswal got out on the score of 57 only on 74 balls.
- The partnership with Sharma didn’t last much longer with Shubman Gill. Gill got out on the score 10 runs.
- After that at the team score of 155 even Rohit got out.
- On the other hand, Virat Kohli took command of the team score. He and Jadeja took the score of the team from 182 to 341. However, Kohli got out with the score of 121 runs.
- The lower-order batsmen also made a good contribution. Ravichandran Ashwin scored a brilliant 56 to take the score forward.
- Before getting all out. India was able to set a total of 438 runs on the board.
- In the 2nd innings West Indies got a good start of 71 runs. But they were not able to set up a good score.
- Mohammed Siraj went on to take a 5-wickets haul. In front of his bowling attack West Indies was not able to perform well. Soon West Indies got out at the score of 255 runs only.
In the 3rd Inning, India went out with an aim to get quick runs and make West Indies bat as early as possible. Everything went according to the plan, but on the 5th Day due to rain, the match was called off.
