“It’s an honour and previlege for us to be associated with the world’s most prestigious half marathon. ADHM has been the frontrunner when it comes to fitness revolution in India and the event has inspired many individuals to lead a healthy lifestyle” Said Vijayraghvan Venugopal, CEO, Fast&Up in an official statement.
There are four different types of races that are conducted in Airtel Delhi Half Marathon. The Marathon has grown from strength to strength over the years where 30 thousand people took part in 2009 and since then every year the numbers have increased to a larger extent. The Half Marathon is an elite runner race while the Great Delhi Run attracts majority of participants overall. The first edition had a total prize money around US $310,000. Andamlak Belihu and Tsehay Gemechu were the winners of last season and they will be looking to defend their title this year.
