Former Indian Cricketer and Delhi Capitals Assistant Coach Mohammad Kaif said that Ajinkya Rahane played a superb knock for Capitals in a nail-biting contest against Royal Challengers Bangalore to register second spot in the points table so that they can qualify for IPL 2020 playoffs but also hold a strong chance of making into finals in case they lose the first qualifier against mighty Mumbai Indians. Rahane batted at number 3 and was highest scorer between two sides where he scored 60 runs from 46 balls and used all his experience to make sure DC cross the line. DC Assistant Coach Kaif took to social media to appreciate Rahane for his outstanding knock.

Delhi Capitals also shared a video on their official Twitter account where Rahane’s daughter Aarya was seen cheering for his dad. “Our cutest cheerleader was super impressed with Papa@ajinkyarahane88’s knock last night,” DC tweeted.

IPL 2020 is the most successful season held so far in terms of viewership and close contest where for the first time we witnessed two super over game in a single match held between Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians where Punjab held their nerve and defeated Mumbai Indians by the individual brilliance of Mohammed Shami, Chris Gayle and Mayank Agarwal.
