Indian Cricket fans are no more interested in bilateral series results instead they want Men in Blue to win ICC events which they have failed to win a single ICC event in the last 9 years.
India’s result has been pathetic in mega events as the team failed on numerous occasions to win a coveted title.
BCCI will review all these performance and will take call on some new events in the upcoming Apex Council Meeting which will be held tomorrow on 21st December 2022.
Based on reports from different sources, leadership change and split coaching will come in existence.
Further quoting the reports in different media outlets, Rahul Dravid will be coaching in Test and ODI formats whereas in T20 formats new coach will be inducted.
Hardik Pandya will most likely be appointed as the T20 format skipper for India and Surya Kumar Yadav will likely to get role in T20 formats.
The meeting will be conducted virtually. It will be interesting to see whether Rohit Sharma will remain captain of India till 2023 or not or we will see leadership changes in these two formats.
BCCI Apex Council will also discuss the injury concerns as several players including the likes of- Deepak Chahar, Ravindra Jadeja & Rohit Sharma.
India will be currently playing in the ongoing series against Bangladesh where they are leading two match Test series by 1-0 and they will be next locking horns against each other against Australia at home.
If BCCI works on the concept of spilt captaincy and coaching then they will certainly follow the template of England who are doing wonders in major ICC events.
