Watch : Rinku Singh refuse to shake hands with Virat Kohli to touch his feet! Social media heaps appreciation!

This season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) reversed a four-game losing streak to win. KKR defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 21 runs on Wednesday, April 27, 2023 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium thanks to Jason Roy’s outstanding 29-ball 56 and Nitish Rana’s match winning 48 off 21 balls.

Virat Kohli, who has served as a fantastic role model for all the country’s youth, was seen being touched by KKR star batter Rinku Singh in a video posted by Cricket Exchange on YouTube. It came after Kohli lavished accolades on Rinku for his string of five consecutive sixes against the Gujarat Titans, which enabled his team to defeat the reigning champions in an improbable victory.

“What the youngsters are doing today is amazing to see. Look at this IPL, I couldn’t even think of doing stuff what these young guys are doing. Just the other night, Rinku Singh hits 5 Sixes in last 5 balls which is amazing & never happened something like that. Coming in an hitting five sixes in a row to win a match, I mean what level is this?” – said Virat Kohli about Rinku Singh.

Despite scoring 54 runs off of 37 balls against KKR while playing at his best, Kohli couldn’t help RCB cross the finish line. RCB only made 179 for 8 in 20 overs while chasing a massive total of 201. Only Manipal Lomror and Dinesh Karthik, in addition to Kohli, had threatened to turn the match against KKR, but they were left to handle a little too much work in the latter stages without assistance from the other batsmen.

Meanwhile, KKR cam back to winning ways last night at the Chinnaswamy where they won their 2nd IPL title. While RCB were prevented from moving up in the table, Nitish Rana’s side won their 3rd match in 8 total games and they are in the 7th spot with 6 points.
