After defeating Rajasthan Royals on Sunday by a score of 7 runs, Royal Challengers Bangalore added another victory to their IPL 2023 record. Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell hammered 62 and 77 runs, respectively, for RCB, who were asked to bat first, as they scored a massive total of 189/9 in 20 overs.
Later, despite Devdutt Padikkal’s outstanding 52-run performance, RR were held to 182/6. When a botched run-out attempt was made by pacer Mohammed Siraj at Mahipal Lomror during the game, a heated exchange ensued. However, after the game, both players displayed sportsmanship and let the crowd know that everything was OK.
Mohammad Siraj said, "I'm sorry to Mahipal Lomror for showing aggressions to him. I've apologised to him twice". pic.twitter.com/9BSc2CaY5c

Following the game, RCB shared a video on Twitter in which Siraj was seen expressing regret to Lomror for his actions. Mahipal, I’m very sorry. I have already expressed regret twice. I leave the aggressiveness on the pitch. After the game, everything is quiet, according to Siraj in the video.

In response, Lomror remarked, “It’s okay, Siraj Bhai. Such little things keep happening in such large matches, as in “Bade Bade Matchon Mein Aise Choti Choti Baatein Hoti Rehti Hain.”
Speaking of the game, Rajasthan Royals’ late push, spearheaded by a cameo from Dhruv Jurel, fell short as Royal Challengers Bangalore’s exciting seven-run victory was secured by captain Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell’s century stand.
Royal Challengers Bangalore will play its next match against KKR on 26th April.
