Virat Kohli achieves another milestone, breaks Virender Sehwag’s record this time

At the end of the opening day’s play in Trinidad, Virat remained unbeaten on 87 runs, solidifying his position as the fifth-highest run-scorer for India in Test cricket. He has accumulated 8642 runs in 111 Tests, boasting an impressive average of 49.38 and a remarkable 28 centuries.
The top spot on the list of Indian batsmen with the most Test runs is held by the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, who scored 15,921 runs in 200 Test matches, with an average of 53.78. Following him, Rahul Dravid secures the second position in the tally with 13,288 runs in 164 Tests.
Sunil Gavaskar, being the trailblazer as the first player to achieve 10,000 runs in Test cricket, currently occupies the third position on the all-time run tally with 10,122 runs in 125 matches. On the other hand, VVS Laxman secures the fourth spot with his impressive total of 8,781 runs in 134 matches.
