Viktor Biography: Eric Thompson, popularly known by his ring name Viktor, is a Canadian professional wrestler, currently working with World Wrestling Entertainment for Raw brand. He is the part of the tag-team division with partner Konnor named The Ascension. Eric started his wrestling career in 1999 with The Hart Dungeon, which is a wrestling school located in the basement of the Hart Mansion.
From the year 2003 to 2011, Eric devoted her wrestling career to Independent Circuit where he performed at New Japan Pro Wrestling, Derby City Wrestling, WFX Wrestling, Prairie Wrestling Alliance and many more. In 2011, Eric signed a developmental contract with WWE and was assigned to their developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling under the ring name Rick Victor. He feuded with several superstars during his time in FCW. It includes Seth Rollins and Bo Dallas.
Victor formed a tag team with Konnor named The Ascension. The Ascension defeated Adrian Neville and Corey Graves to win the NXT Tag Team Championship. They lost the title to The Lucha Dragons (Kalisto and Sin Cara), ending their reign a day short of a full year.
In 2014, Victor made his WWE’s main roster debut where The Ascension defeated The Miz and Damien Mizdow. At WrestleMania 31, The Ascension made their WrestleMania debut in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal where both failed to win the match. The Ascension also formed an alliance with Stardust to form a new tag team named “The Cosmic Wasteland”.
At WrestleMania 35, Viktor competed in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal but failed to win the match.

In 2016, The Ascension were drafted to SmackDown and bagged an opportunity in a WWE World Championship No. 1 Contender’s Six-Pack Qualifying Battle Royal, which was won by Apollo Crews. Viktor and Konnor also competed in a tag team turmoil match at Elimination Chamber, for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship where they were eliminated in the last.
At WrestleMania 34, Viktor competed in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal but failed to win the match. He also participated in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal 2019 but failed to win the match at Wrestlemania 35.
Viktor made his video game debut as a playable character in WWE 2K15, WWE 2K16, WWE 2K17, WWE 2K18 and WWE 2K19.
