Uncapped Uma Chetry gets nod for Bangladesh Tour, Replaces Richa Ghosh
Richa Ghosh, the wicketkeeper-batter, has been excluded from the India Women squads for their upcoming tour of Bangladesh. Ghosh has been replaced by the uncapped Uma Chetry in both the ODI and T20I squads. Chetry was recently selected for India-A squad for the Emerging Asia Cup tournament.

In addition to Ghosh, fast bowler Renuka Singh has also been left out, with the selectors opting to select three more uncapped players in the 18-member squads. Minnu Mani, who recently played for Delhi Capitals in the inaugural WPL, was selected along with Anusha Bareddy and Rashi Kanojiya. Monica Patel, who played a couple of ODIs in 2021 against South Africa, has been recalled, while Priya Punia has been brought back as well.
Allrounder Sneh Rana, who replaced Pooja Vastrakar in the T20 World Cup earlier this year, has been left out of the T20I squad but retains her place in the ODI setup.
Shikha Pandey, the experienced pacer who made a comeback for the T20 World Cup in South Africa, has been left out of the squad again. The tour will commence with a three-match T20I series on July 9 in Mirpur, followed by three ODIs at the same venue. The series will end on July 22.

Meghana, Pooja Vastrakar, Meghna Singh, Anjali Sarvani, Monica Patel, Rashi Kanojiya, Anusha Bareddy, and Minnu Mani.
