The WPL is going to start from 4th of March but the preparation and the talks has begun. There are numerous of player representing different franchises in WPL. Today, we will talking about 5 indians player to watch out In Women’s Premier league. The list starts as follows

1.Smriti mandhana–  Mandhana made her debut for the Indian women’s cricket team in April 2013 and has since become one of the most prominent players in the team.

Royal challengers bought Smirti mandhana at a whopping price of 3.3 crore. After some day Royal challengers announced Smriti as the leader of their squad.

Mandhana has also played for the Western Storm in the Women’s Cricket Super League in England and the Hobart Hurricanes in the Women’s Big Bash League in Australia.

  1. Harmanpreet kaur– Harmanpreet is a right-handed batswoman and a right-arm off-break bowler, who has been a key member of the Indian women’s cricket team since her debut in 2009.

Mumbai Indians got the indian captain at an enormous amout of 2.6 crore. They named Harmanpreet kaur as their captain.

Harmanpreet has been a part of Sydney Thunder in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) in Australia.  This will help Harmanpreet to get more into the working of franchise cricket.

  1. Shafali Verma- Shafali made her international debut for the Indian women’s cricket team in September 2019, at the age of just 15. In November 2019, she became the youngest Indian cricketer, male or female, to score an international fifty.

Shafali has also played domestic cricket for Haryana and Velocity in the Women’s T20 Challenge. In September 2021, she became the top-ranked batter in the ICC Women’s T20I rankings, becoming the youngest player to achieve this feat.

Delhi Capitals bid for Shafali and got her after a long fight with RCB. In recent days shafali is not at the top of her game. She will look to score runs in WPL to gain confidence.

  1. Deepti Sharma- Deepti made her international debut for India in August 2014, at the age of just 16. She is the only cricketer, to score more than 300 runs and take more than 10 wickets in a single ODI series.

Up warriorz bought Deepti at an enormous amount of 2.6 crore. Deepti has been at the pinnacle of her form . In t20 world cup she performed really well and took responsibility in bowling department.

Deepti has also played domestic cricket for Uttar Pradesh and was a member of the Trailblazers team that won the inaugural Women’s T20 Challenge in 2018.

  1. Jemimah Rodrigues- Jemimah made her international debut for India in February 2018 and has since become a regular member of the team.

Jemimah has also played domestic cricket for Mumbai and Yorkshire Diamonds in the Women’s Cricket Super League. She has also been a part of the Velocity team in the Women’s T20 Challenge.

Delhi Capitals acquired the service of Jemimah Rodrigues for this WPL. Jemimah would be playing the role of a finisher for the team and finishes match for Delhi Capitals
