According to a report in Inside Sport, Suresh Raina is planning to make a comeback in CSK ahead of IPL 2020. The former Indian cricketer took everyone by surprise after pulling out of IPL 2020 on Friday. The news came after 13 members of CSK contingent found positive for coronavirus. He departed from UAE on Friday, citing personal reasons.

Several speculations were made regarding his sudden departure. It was reported that a rift between Raina and the team management over a hotel room led to Raina’s departure from UAE. He later took to Twitter to clear the air amidst all the controversies.

Suresh Raina uncle died in a house attack which took place on 20th August. Raina’s cousin too died days after the incident. His aunt is still battling for life in hospital. The Indian cricketer has requested to have a thorough probe into the matter and get justice to the family.

It has now understood that after Raina’s departure, he was removed from CSK’s Whatsapp group. Raina urges his desire to make come back to CSK squad ahead of the IPL 2020. He has also talked to MS Dhoni and coach Stephen Fleming regarding the same.

CSK isn’t looking for any replacement for Suresh Raina. One would hope Suresh Raina to make a comeback in the side and don the yellow jersey in IPL 2020. Nevertheless, IPL 2020 schedule is likely to be announced in a few days. The 13th edition of Indian Premier League will start on 19th September 2020, while the final will be played on 10th November 2020.
