Amidst Covid-19 Pandemic, Rohit Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Mohammad Shami are some of the current cricketers who are busy doing web-chats, connecting with their team members and sometimes with players from a different country.
Rohit Sharma, recently, did an Instagram live with Yuzvendra Chahal where they were pulling each other’s leg. Indian Vice-Captain also uploaded a funny video on Instagram Targeting Chahal where he wrote on his Insta handle “ That’s my little boy Chahal when he is fielding (jumping all around), captioned with laugh emoji.
The video caught the attention of all the veteran cricketers like Harbhajan Singh, Herschelle Gibbs. Leg-spinner Chahal took it in a lighter way and reacted in a funny manner. Chahal, too, has been keeping himself busy during these quarantine days by doing TIK TOK videos.
Rohit is constantly doing Instagram live where he was talking about how much he is missing playing cricket at the moment. Two of the biggest ambassadors of Indian cricket, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are currently entertaining their fans on social media with their web chats.
Rohit also expressed his feelings over not playing the game, where he said “Yes, I miss my teammates, hanging around with them and also have some banter here and there because when you are playing together, from almost 365 days we are together for 300 days, we are playing, travelling together, so it’s like a family with all these guys. So the first thing I want to do is to catch up with all these guys and try to hit some balls as soon as I can,” Rohit told football presenter Joe Morrison on La Liga’s Facebook page.”
Rohit also assumes that he will be the last person who will be joining the training once everything gets normal post-COVID 19 as Mumbai is the worst-hit city in terms of COVID 19 cases.
