Rohit Sharma joins Virat kohli as only the 2nd Indian Batter to score 11,000 runs in T20 cricket!

Rohit Sharma, the skipper of the Mumbai Indians (MI), reached a key landmark on Sunday in an important Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter versus Sunrisers Hyderabad. In T20 cricket, Rohit became the second Indian player behind Virat Kohli to reach the select club of players who have amassed 11,000 runs.

The game ultimately was a spectacular contest at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai Indians were able to easily hunt down a total of 201 and win the contest by eight wickets thanks in large part to Cameron Green’s spectacular century.

Rohit Sharma too made a significant impact, striking 56 skillfully constructed runs off just 37 deliveries. They produced a remarkable counterattack versus the Sunrisers Hyderabad bowlers, helped their squad win with 12 balls remaining, and Green’s undefeated 100 off just 47 balls.

Mumbai Indians’ bowlers earlier in the game staged a great recovery in the slog overs to hold Sunrisers Hyderabad to 200/4. Mumbai’s bowlers were able to limit the scoring in the later parts of the innings despite the SRH openers Vivrant Sharma (69 off 47) and Mayank Agarwal (83 off 46) lighting the stage on fire with brilliant fifties.
