Early Life & Journey:
Vivrant Sharma was born on 30 October 1999 in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The left-handed batsman always had an affection towards the game since his childhood but it took him years to break into the setup.
Vivrant Sharma, in one of the interviews, explicitly mentioned that he started playing the game after watching Yuvraj Singh perform wonders for team India. Once he made it to his state team after the struggle, he was selected a side net bowler for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He learnt about the game in a deeper way as he got a chance to interact with the likes of Brian Lara.
Following his fine performances in the domestic circuit, Sunrisers Hyderabad snatched Vivrant Sharma under the eyes of Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League auction 2022. Sunrisers Hyderabad signed him for a fee of INR 2.6 crore in the auction. The Hyderabad outfit paid 13 times the base price to secure the services of Vivrant Sharma.

The talented 23 year old Jammu player has featured in 30 games across all competitions for Jammu and Kashmir in domestic cricket. In a short span of time, he has fetched a name for himself in the domestic circuit with him scoring more than 960+ runs in less than 34 innings. He has a century and six half centuries across all formats.
Vivrant Sharma made his debut for Jammu and Kashmir against Saurashtra in a Vijay Hazare Trophy game. The player made his debut memorable by scoring a half century. He came to open the batting for the valley state and was successful in forging a half century partnership for the first wicket.
In his first game of List A cricket, he scored 66 runs from 82 deliveries and the innings consisted of nine boundaries. In 14 List A games, Vivrant Sharma has 519 runs to his name at an average close to 40 and a highest score of 154. He has a century and three half centuries in the 50-over format.
