This incident was seen during the fourth over of the innings during Lucknow’s batting, which was done by Ishant Sharma. The fourth ball of the over was going outside the leg stumps and the umpire declared it wide. After this the umpire felt that Pant had asked for a review and he sought the help of the third umpire.
However, after this Pant came to the umpire and tried to explain to him that he had not demanded DRS. During this, Pant told the umpire that due to the noise being high, he was asking his player with the help of gestures and at that very moment all this went wrong. It seemed like he was arguing with the umpire.

Rishabh pant reached a special milestone in this match. After scoring 9 runs in his innings, Pant completed 3000 runs in his IPL career. Rishabh Pant became the third youngest batsman to achieve this record in IPL and left Sanju Samson behind. Pant achieved this feat at the age of 26 years, 191 days.
So far 25 batsmen have scored 3000 or more runs in the IPL and Pant is only behind AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle in terms of strike rate. The left-handed batsman has scored 3000 runs at a strike rate of 148.4. At the same time, De Villiers’ strike rate is 151.68, while Gayle’s strike rate is 148.96. Pant played an important inning of 41 runs in 24 balls, which included four fours and two sixes. Pant played an important role in helping his team get its second win of the current season.
