Terrance Guido Gerin, popularly known by his ring name Rhyno, is an American professional wrestler, currently working in Impact Wrestling. Gerin started his wrestling career in 1995 when he took his wrestling training at the Can-Am Wrestling School located in Windsor, Ontario under Scott D’Amore.

Gerin had been a part of several wrestling promotions in his career that includes Extreme Championship Wrestling, Catch Wrestling Association, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring Of Honor, World Wrestling Entertainment and many others. He is well known for his devastating spear move on his opponents, which put him as one of the strongest and intense wrestlers in the professional wrestling world.

He also held several championships around his waist in which he became the ECW World Heavyweight Champion once and NWA World Heavyweight Champion once,  WCW United States Champion once, two-time ECW World Television Champion, three-time WWF Hardcore Champion, and a one-time and inaugural WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion with Heath Slater. Gerin also bagged championships at different wrestling platforms in his entire career.

Terrance Guido Gerin was born on October 7, 1975, in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Gerin took his wrestling training from  Can-Am Wrestling School located in Windsor, Ontario, under Scott D’ Amore.

Terrance Guido Gerin resides in  Dearborn, Michigan, United States. He is married to Mirja Jerin in 1997. There is no information about his children and parent’s name.

PROFESSIONAL LIFE

Gerin started his professional wrestling career in 1994 when he joined  Can-Am Wrestling School for wrestling training under Scott D’Amore. He appeared World Championship Wrestling under the ring name Rhino Richards. In 1997, Rhino joined the Catch Wrestling Association were teamed with XL Legend to win the vacant CWA World Tag Team Championship, defeating Rico de Cuba and August Small.

Rhino joined Extreme Championship Wrestling in 1999 and defeated  Yoshihiro Tajiri to win  World Television Championship. He lost the title to Kid Kash. He then defeated Sandman, winning  ECW World Heavyweight Championship in 2001. Gerin signed a contract with World Wrestling Federation in 2001 under the ring name Rhyno. Rhyno defeated Kane to win the WWF Hardcore Championship and won it three times in 2001.

In 2005, Rhyno made his debut on Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling and defeated Jeff Jarrett to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship title. Rhino lost the NWA World Title to Jeff Jarrett after some time. He also feuded with Monster Abyss, Christian, AJ Styles, and James Storm during his time at TNA.

Rhyno was a part of several Independent wrestling platforms that includes New Japan Pro Wrestling, Resistance Pro Wrestling, Universal Championship Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Pride, Ring of Honor and so on. Rhyno made his return to World Wrestling Entertainment in 2015 and joined NXT for some time and later made the main roster appearance as a face, where he joined The Dudley Boyz and Tommy Dreamer as part of a revamped incarnation of The ECW Originals.

In 2016, he teamed up with Heath Slater and defeated The Usos to become inaugural  SmackDown Tag Team Champions. At Wrestlemania 35, Rhyno competed in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal but lost.

Rhyno is currently signed to Impact Wrestling. Rhyno made his film debut in the 2011 horror film Death from Above, alongside fellow wrestler Kurt Angle. He made his video game as a playable character in WWE 2K18 and WWE 2K19.
