Real Madrid‘s star forward, Karim Benzema has completed 11 years with the La Liga club on Thursday. He joined the club on July 9, 2009.

The French professional footballer is known as immensely talented striker due to his strong and fastidious approach of finishing the match for both Real Madrid and his France national team.

Benzema was only 21 years old when he joined Real Madrid and in the last 11 years, he has proved to be one of the best bids for the side. He has played 508 matches for The Whites, scoring 244 goals and participating in 134 goals (assists).

Benzema is the fifth-highest scorer in the history of Real Madrid since his debut against Deportivo on August 29, 2009. He also helped his side in winning 18 titles in a short span of time, thereby becoming one of the most sincere students of the Real Madrid FC.

The breakdown of all the trophies he helped his side in winning consists of Four European Cups, four FIFA Club World Cups, three European Super Cups, three Spanish Super Cups, followed by a couple of La Liga and Copa del Rey trophies. His accolades are unmatchable for, especially winning the championships with sheer consistency throughout his career.

He is also considered a selfless player who thinks of the team’s welfare as can be seen from his participation in over 100 goals and how he recently helped his teammate and mid-fielder Casemiro score a goal by giving him an easy assist against Espanyol last week in a La Liga fixture.

Real Madrid is currently leading the La Liga standings with 77 points, only one point ahead of the arch-rivals Barcelona. Zinedine Zidane‘s men will now face Alaves in their next game on Saturday.
