Rakesh Narwal was born on 6 May 1995 in Gohana, Sonipat, Haryana where he went to Government senior secondary school Rindhana College and then graduated from MDU, Rohtak. While a lot of his peers played Wrestling, Rakesh got invoked by Kabaddi and slowly his passion turned into a profession.

Rakesh Narwal debuted in the second season pro kabaddi league career with Bengaluru Bulls. His impressive performances for Haryana state team got him a Pro Kabaddi League call-up where he was snapped up by Bengaluru Bulls. He played a role in the team’s second-place finish.
Later on, he moved to Patna Pirates in season 3 but only managed to play 1 game for the team. His was sidelined because of the minor injuries. He didn’t stay at Patna Pirates either and later in season 5 he was picked up by Gujarat Fortune Giants, where he managed to play 6 games only and made 58 total raids and gained 17 raid points for his team. Rakesh narwal one of the few players who has been in 3 More Seasons of Pro Kabaddi for 3 Different Franchises.

In season 6, Rakesh Narwal was again moved to a different team and was picked up by Bengal Warriors for 8 lacs. He didn’t get much playing time in his new side either, just played 6 games made a total of 16 raids and collecting 10 total raid points.
