We are just 10 days away from the play-offs and match number 122 of Pro Kabaddi League season 9 saw U Mumba try their luck against the reigning champions Dabang Delhi. Delhi’s defense needed to start well and turn the heat on and that is exactly what they did by maintaining 73.08%.
It was a one sided match and Mumba lost the match by a humongous margin of 17 points. Naveen kumar scored 5 raid points to help his side win. He received the support of Ashu Malik and Vijay Malik in the raiding department as the duo would put together 8 raid points. Delhi’s defense saw Amit Hooda and Sandeep Dhull put up a show by amassing 12 tackle points.
The best player from Mumbas’ point of view, was defender Rinku who scored a 4 tackle points but still was on the losing side. He was heavily let down by a terrible Mumba defense that maintained an extremely depressing and quite unbelievable raid strike rate of 24.44%%

Up next in Match number 123, a bottom of the table fixture on display between Gujarat Giants and Telegu Titans. This was the second meeting between these two teams and yet again Gujarat Giants came out victorious. They defeated Telegu Titans by 6 points to further solidify themselves in the points table.
Titans are now surely out of play-off contention but they did everything to win last night but it just did not click for them. Raider Abhishek Singh scored 9 points and K Hanumanthu ended the night with 6 raid points to his name. But his contribution went in vain as they had no other raider to do the job for them.
Meanwhile, Guajarat continued their winning spree but their title charge is already over this season. What a clinical performance it was by the whole team, especially by Parteek Dahiya and Dong Geon. Both added a total of 26 raid points with the former scoring 17 raid points and the latter brought back 9 raid points.
Sonu also helped by winning 3 raid points. Meanwhile, the defenders fully complimented the raiders as Kapil (1 tackle point), Shankar Godai (3 tackle points), Rinku Narwal (5 tackle points) and Arkam Shaikh (1 tackle point) added 10 points for the win.
