Tamil Thalaivas Vs. Patna Pirates
The first match of the 10th day of the Pro Kabaddi League season 9 saw Tamil Thalaivas pick up their first win of the season by a very delicate margin of one point. They are still without marquee raider Pawan Sehrawat due to injury but they will be happy with the positive result.
Thalaivas’ Raiders Narendar and Himanshu Singh starred in the match as they brought a combined number of 20 raid points – 9 and 11 respectively. They still have quite a few things to improve on especially the defense as they back line has been often found exposed.
Their defenders failed to show consistency as a result they had a tackle success rate of 29.17%. However, their Raid strike rate of 34.15% is a good sign for the team and the management.
Meanwhile, Patna Pirates suffered a very close defeat as a result of lesser contributions from the whole team. Sachin and Rohit Gulia were the only players who challenged the opposition by constantly winning raid points and both shared 11 raid points between them. With this lose, the 3-time champions are yet to win a match this season and they are languishing in the 12th spot.

Dabang Delhi K.C Vs. Haryana Steelers
The 10th Match day of Pro Kabaddi League season 9 featured a Northern derby between Table toppers Dabang Delhi K.C Vs. Haryana Steelers. Delhi kept their 100% winning record against a side that contains a lot of potential and strength. The Steelers will be disappointed to have lost the Derby as they trailed by 2 points at the end of full-time.

Naveen Express was on full swing today and he is making the mat his own playground regardless of the opponents. His fearless body language and attitude to hurt the opponents saw him complete yet another Super 10 as he picked up a total of 12 Raid points.
His side also contributed for the win as Ravi Kumar picked 2 Tackle points, Manjeet brought back 6 Raid points, Ashu Malik took 5 raid points, Krishan with 2 tackle points and Vinay Kumar won 4 tackle points. Their defense was decent as they maintained a tackle success rate of 42.5% and Naveen kumar and co. helped in keeping a Raid strike rate of 52.5%.
Despite the efforts put in by Haryana Raider Manjeet who won 12 Raid points, Haryana couldn’t win the match but looks like Manjeet is going to become the next big thing.
