Pranitha Vardhineni Biography: Pranitha Vardhineni is an Indian Recurve Archer who has represented India at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She has also participated in various National archery events.
EARLY LIFE:
Pranitha Vardheneni was born on November 17, 1990, in Kalleda, a place in Adilabad District of Telangana in India. She was inclined towards archery since her school days.
She studied from Kalleda Rural School in Warangal District, Telangana State, India. It was in the year 2004 when Pranitha Vardheneni participated for the first time in any archery event. She was just 14 years old when she won a Bronze medal at the National Sub-Junior Archery Championships. She got complete backing from her family as she went on to pursue archery as a full-time sport.
PERSONAL LIFE:
Pranitha got married in June 2016 and currently lives in Telangana, Hyderabad. She got a job offer from the Indian Railways owing to her achievements for India in Archery. She is currently working in the Indian Railways, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.

When Pranitha won her first-ever medal in Archery at the National Sub-Junior Archery Championships, she grabbed the quick attention of Tata Archery Academy Coaches. She was selected into the young squad and got the opportunity to train under good coaches present at the prestigious Tata Archery Academy in Jamshedpur, India.
Between 2004 and 2013, Pranitha Vardhineni participated in twelve national level archery competitions and secured a medal in eleven of them. She has been stupendous in her entire career. Her major International appearance is representing India at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics but unfortunately, she couldn’t win any medal at any event.
She has won many medals in her 9-year long career and some major wins include Asian Archery Grand Prix stint where she has won numerous medals. adding to her tally of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. After announcing retirement from the sport Pranitha is joined the Sports Authority of India as an Archery Coach in 2013. As of 2013, she was posted at the Sports Training Centre in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
