Netherlands squad for T20 World Cup 2024
Netherlands has already announced their squad for the T20 World Cup. They left out two key players which shocked everyone. Actually, the Netherlands squad does not include Roelof van der Merwe and Colin Ackermann in the team. Both of them are important players of the team.
Roelof van der Merwe is a bowling all-rounder. He has given many match-winning performances for the team. Van der Merwe made his International ODI and T20 debut for South Africa. However, he later moved to the Netherlands and started playing from there. Van der Merwe has also played in the IPL. He has been a part of RCB in the league. At the same time, he was also a part of the Netherlands’ ODI World Cup squad last year.
Colin Ackermann, on the other hand, is a brilliant batsman. Both of them have opted for county commitments and hence are not part of the World Cup squad.

Indian origin players are selected for Netherlands squad
Two players of Indian origin have also got a place in the Netherlands team. It includes Vikramjit Singh and Aryan Dutt. Vikramjeet has impressed everyone since his debut. He is a brilliant batsman from the Netherlands. Vikramjeet has so far played 32 ODIs and 10 T20 International matches for Netherlands. During this period, he has scored 964 runs in ODIs with the help of 1 century and 6 half-centuries. He has 105 runs to his name in T20 International.
Whereas, Aryan Dutt is an off spin bowler. So far he has played 38 ODI and 9 T20 International matches for Netherlands. During this period, he has taken 41 wickets in ODI and 8 wickets in T20. These two players of Indian origin will now be seen making waves for the Netherlands in the T20 World Cup.
