A man-in form, KL Rahul is all set to lead Kings Eleven Punjab in the upcoming edition of IPL. There is no denying that KL Rahul had been in a terrific run of form until coronavirus took the world by storm. He scored consistently for the team in the past few series and also cemented his place as India’s prominent number-five batsman in the limited over’s side.

With him eager to lead Kings XI, he recently shared what he has learnt in terms of captaincy from MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

Yes, yes. Dhoni’s calmness and belief showed in backing players who had the potential to be matchwinners. Virat’s passion in the way he leads, the way he wants the boys to be better and better. Rohit always plays with a passion and backs players,” Rahul told Indian Express.

The Indian cricketer also talked about MS Dhoni’s retirement and how like all other Indians, he too felt emotional after getting to know about that.

Like the rest of the country I too was emotional, we all would have wanted to play some more cricket with him. As I said, his calmness was insane and valuable in the dressing room,” said Rahul.

KL Rahul was part of India’s 2019 World Cup squad and played a couple of crucial knocks for the side. In his international career so far, he has represented India in 32 ODIs, 36 Tests and 42 T20 internationals, scoring 1239, 2006 and1461 runs respectively.
