Regarding the professional front, Kl Rahul missed the ODI and T20I series against New Zealand and will now join the national team for the Test format match against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which will begin on February 9 in Raipur.

India has recently defeated Australia twice on Australian soil, therefore Australia will be seeking to increase their lead in the longest format and get payback.

India must win every game in order to go to the World Test Championship 2023 final, which will take place at the Oval on July 20, 2023.
