If we think about the superstar who made it big despite not having a Godfather in the industry, the only one name comes to mind and it is none other than Kangana Ranaut. The experimental actress after a whopping success of Manikarnika is geared up to portray the role of a national level Kabaddi player in her upcoming movie “Panga”.
She is leaving no stones unturned in acing her role as Kabaddi player. Recently, the director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari shared a photo on Instagram Where Kangana was seen harnessing her Kabaddi skills. In the picture, she was wearing black track pant with a white tee. Her curly hairs were properly tied up to avoid sweat so that she can focus on the game.
Players like Gauri Wadekar, Vishwas More and Tarak Raul will train the actors for the movie.
She is rigorously training during different Kabaddi practice sessions. The film is already half complete with the only shoot left in Kolkata. The sports melancholy will hit the theatres on January 24, 2020.
Other actors in the sports drama movie are Punjabi singer and actor Jassie Gill who will be portraying Kangana husband role, Neena Gupta, who will display the role of Kangana mother and Richa Chaddha.
Recently she shared the post where she was seen enjoying the delicious South Indian meal post her shoot “There’s nothing better than the company of Anna and South Indian food for Kangana Ranaut. Here, she can be seen relishing a good meal in the company of Team Panga. They made it all happen for her ’cause she played really well in her Kabaddi matches. Panga.”
Kabaddi is the next big thing in Indian sports after Cricket in terms of TV viewership. In states like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra the leagues like Pro Kabaddi have gained more TRP’s than IPL.
