Royal Challengers Bangalore are all set to face Mumbai Indians in the tenth match of IPL 2020 on Monday at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. RCB are coming in the game with a heavy 97-run defeat against Kings XI Punjab. After winning the first game and then suffering defeat in the next, RCB would be desperate to get back to winnings ways.

For RCB to win the game, skipper Virat Kohli will have a lot of responsibility on his shoulders to take his team home. Virat has failed to turn up with good performances in the last two games. He would be eying a big knock against Mumbai Indians.

Ahead of the match against MI, the RCB skipper is on course to add another record to his name. Virat Kohli is just 95 runs short from achieving 9000 runs in T20 cricket. With 8915 runs in 283 T20s, Virat Kohli is currently the leading Indian batsman with most numbers of runs in the shortest format of the game.

Overall, the Indian skipper is seventh in the list behind Chris Gayle (13,296 runs), Kieron Pollard (10,238 runs), Brendon McCullum (9,922 runs), Shoaib Malik (9,906 runs), David Warner (9,318 runs), and Aaron Finch (9,088 runs).

Royal Challengers Bangalore started their campaign wonderfully with a 10-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, Virat Kohli and Boys suffered an embarrassing 97-run defeat at the hands of Kings XI Punjab in their second outing. RCB’s death bowling woes have once again come to haunt them. Mumbai Indians are aware of that and would look to score as many runs in the death overs.

With Chris Morris still injured, RCB don’t have a lot of options. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen how they perform against MI on Monday.
